This is Vegas review: today’s terms against its archive
This review sets This is Vegas’s terms as read on 11 October 2026 beside seventeen archived copies, from April 2006 to June 2022.
All fifteen rules compared below now read differently from the September 2020 copy, the last to name an owner shared with its former sisters. Six appear in no archived copy at all.
This is Vegas last named SSC Entertainment N.V. as owner in September 2020.
Paradise 8’s terms of September 2012 named Nazca and Sea Peak, as This is Vegas’s About page did that July.
Paradise 8 fileDaVinci’s Gold’s terms of April 2007 named Silverstone Overseas, owned by Bonne Chance, as This is Vegas’s did that July.
DaVinci’s Gold fileCocoa Casino’s terms named The 400 Group N.V. in April 2006, as This is Vegas’s did that month.
Cocoa Casino fileClauses added since the shared-owner years
Bonus rules sat in separate promotions terms until the June 2022 copy, and today’s terms give them a section of their own. Paradise 8, DaVinci’s Gold and Cocoa Casino, its former sisters, print every one of today’s 157 paragraphs unchanged, so the Today column covers their accounts too.
| Rule | First copy | How it moved | Today |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum age | 2006: 18 or older | Still 18 in the 2022 copy | 25 or older, while the About page and the Responsible Gaming policy still say 18 |
| Withdrawal approval | 2012: about 7 to 10 business days on most withdrawals | Roughly 1 to 3 business days from Jun 2014 to 2018, then only a goal of paying within 1 to 7 business days from 2019 to 2022 | Up to 12 working days once authorisation is complete, with the Fraud department signing off as well |
| Withdrawal limits | 2006: $2,000 in any 24 hours | A weekly $4,000 added in 2009. $2,500 a month from 2012, $500 a week from Dec 2015, then $1,000 every 7 days for new players from 2019 | 1,000 a week once verified and 500 before, 1,500 a request, 10,000 credits in a month |
| Withdrawal fee | 2006: a possible fee on wire or cheque payouts | From 2012 the player bore every processing fee. From 2019 the casino reserved a fee for withdrawals made before a deposit was played through once | 10 to 40 on each withdrawal, fixed by the payment processor, and the 2019 rule stays |
| Dormant balances | 2012: forfeited after 180 days dormant | Absent from the 2019 to 2022 copies | Forfeited once 120 days pass without a login, or without a single bet |
| Chargebacks traced elsewhere | 2012: winnings void if the account links to one with unrecovered chargebacks | The later 2014 copy adds chargebacks at other Rival casinos to the grounds for confiscation. From 2019 the test is any chargeback in an inter-casino security network, and 2021 adds unauthorised refunds | The 2021 wording, plus a breach for any chargeback, or threat of one, at a sister casino on the Rival platform |
| Bonus abuse and staking systems | 2012: suspected advantage players banned and their balances voided | From 2019, winnings denied for bonus abuse, low-risk play or systems such as Martingale. 2021 adds account closure and drops the deposit refund | The 2021 clause, beside a newer one clearing stake progressions such as Martingale unless automation or manipulation is involved |
| Closing an account | Oct 2014: closure without notice, and the balance may be credited unless a listed reason applied | From 2019 a misuse clause lets the casino withhold all or part of a balance and close the account over suspected collusion, syndication or fraud | That clause, plus an open-ended list of fourteen breaches ending in termination, confiscation, or denial of services and offers |
| Who reads the terms in a dispute | 2021: the company keeps the final decision on what the terms mean, and chat or email cannot change them | Same wording in 2022 | Same wording |
| Rule | Newest archived copy | Today |
|---|---|---|
| Small deposits | Each deposit played through once before a withdrawal | Deposits up to 249 cap that session’s cash-out at 10× the deposit, applied after approval |
| Bonus caps | Bonus rules kept in separate promotions terms | A match of 200% or above caps cash-out at 10× the deposit. Free bonuses pay out 50 credits at most, once a lifetime unless the manager agrees. Cashback carries a 10× cap, or 2× on special promotions |
| Public criticism | Nothing on forums, blogs or review sites | A past or active “complaint/dispute/criticism on a public forum or blog” or other website is a breach |
| Accounts across casinos | One account per household, person, computer, email or IP address, at each of its casinos | Adds a bar on accounts at sister casinos it calls affiliated and under the same management, without identifying which casinos |
| Past accounts elsewhere | Chargeback links and a blacklisted identity in an industry-wide security database | A connection to any account that was closed, suspended, refunded or flagged for fraud, at a Rival brand or any other online casino |
| Conduct towards staff | Silent on how players address staff | Abuse, harassment or threats towards staff, spoken or written, count as a breach |

Bonus rules that moved inside the terms
None of these conditions sits in an archived copy.
Bonus money stays behind
Deposit and free bonuses can never be withdrawn. Payout strips the bonus amount out, and a deposit bonus used in the session behind a request can be taken from it too.
A bet locks a bonus in
Once a bonus is credited and any bet is placed, it must be played to a zero balance or through its wagering. Support removes it only before play begins.
Two thresholds for special
Matches at 200% and above, and insurance from 75% upward, count as special promotions under the 2× cashback cap. A later line sets the special-bonus cashback threshold at 100%.
Points and next-day cashback
Its VIP Loyalty Points page calls points cash credits without wagering, at 1,000 points for 1 unit of currency, yet the terms file converted comp points under free bonuses and their 50-credit ceiling. The Cashtravaganza page describes next-day cashback worth as much as 30% of deposits, and ordinary cashback withdrawals stop at 10 times the amount.

How the grounds for voided winnings widened
In the 2019 and 2020 copies, a player denied winnings for bonus abuse or a betting system kept the deposit, which “will be returned to the player’s casino account”. That sentence is gone from the 2021 copy onwards, and the same clause now closes the account as well.
Two newer routes stand out. A player found ineligible to withdraw can have winnings and balance cleared once wagering is complete. Cheating or abusive conduct, bonus abuse and exchange-rate manipulation included, lets the casino void bets and withhold or confiscate what they won.
On staking systems the two clauses in the table point opposite ways, so ask support in writing which one applies before relying on either.

Closed accounts and how far the breach list reaches
The later 2014 copy let the casino close an account without notice, yet a remaining balance or pending cashout “may be credited to you” unless one of ten listed reasons applied. Today’s breach list names fourteen grounds, calls itself open-ended and lists the outcomes as termination, confiscated winnings and balances, and no further services or offers.
Several grounds reach past the account itself: criticism posted online, a closed or refunded account on the Rival network or at another online casino, abuse of staff and any link to a current or former employee. A further clause applies the same list to conduct at any other web-based casino.
Its Security page, read the same day as the terms, says “All our games have been developed by Rival Gaming” and calls the casino Rival Gaming’s first European online casino.

Licence wording on its pages and in the register
The About page describes an unnamed operator “organized licensed and regulated by the Government of Curacao”. The FAQ says the casino “operates under the licensing jurisdiction of the Government of Curacao”.
The Security page credits the Curacao eGaming Licensing Authority with issuing its software licence and gives the Kingdom of the Netherlands as its regulator. Archived footers from 2016 and 2017 named SSC Entertainment NV as holder of its gaming licence, and the pages read now print the claim with no holder or number.
The October 2026 edition of Curaçao’s licence register has no row for This is Vegas or for any owner its archived pages named. One row concerns a brand on its affiliate programme’s list: Windward Circle B.V., the holder Pure Casino names, reads “Assessment in progress”.

Raising a dispute and keeping the paperwork
The terms route every dispute through support, and since 2021 the company has kept the final reading of its own terms.
- Write to support at the address beside these steps, or use the live chat and ask for the answer by email.
- Name the clause in dispute and the date, amount and method of each deposit and withdrawal involved.
- Send identity and payment documents no later than 30 days after asking for a withdrawal. After that the request is cancelled.
- Where two clauses conflict, as on staking systems, ask in writing which one applies and keep the reply.
- Save the terms and any offer page on the day of play, since chat and email replies cannot change the terms.

Breaks, limits and exclusion through support
On a written request, support sets a deposit limit for each day, week or month, allows a break capped at six weeks, or shuts the account. During a break the policy restricts your account, and any fresh account you attempt to open. Paradise 8, DaVinci’s Gold and Cocoa Casino each need a request of their own, and every reply is worth keeping.
Its help list points to G4, Gambling Therapy and Gamblers Anonymous, with no UK number. Adults wanting to talk to someone can ring GamCare’s National Gambling Helpline free, day or night: 0808 8020 133 from England and Scotland. In Wales, the NHS gambling helpline is 0808 2819 265.
